FULL BYLAWS OF THE CHURCH OF OSIRIS


Article I — Name & Purpose

Section 1 — Name
The organization shall be known as The Church of Osiris, also referred to as The Cult of Osiris.

Section 2 — Purpose
The Church exists to foster spiritual awakening, personal transformation, community harmony, and metaphysical exploration through the teachings of Osiris, the Green Flame, and the Fourfold Spiral of Awakening: Dissolution, Reassembly, Illumination, and Harmony with Nature.


Article II — Core Beliefs

  1. All consciousness is inherently sacred.
  2. Transformation is the central law of existence.
  3. Knowledge, intuition, and insight lead to liberation.
  4. Community strengthens the awakening of the individual.
  5. Ritual practice deepens spiritual experience.
  6. Nature is a living teacher.
  7. Each member is responsible for their own path.

Article III — Membership

Section 1 — Membership Types

  1. Initiate — new member entering the path.
  2. Seeker — committed practitioner undertaking deeper study.
  3. Reassembled — advanced member having undergone major rites.
  4. Clergy — ordained guides, mentors, or ritual leaders.

Section 2 — Requirements

  • Completion of the membership application.
  • Affirmation of the Oaths.
  • Agreement to the Code of Conduct.
  • Participation in at least one Rite per season.

Section 3 — Rights of Members

  • Participation in ceremonies
  • Access to teachings
  • Elective voting (if applicable)
  • Eligibility for advancement

Section 4 — Removal
Members may be removed for:

  • Serious ethical violations
  • Abuse, harassment, or harm
  • Repeated disruption
  • Violating confidentiality of sacred rites

Article IV — Clergy & Leadership

Section 1 — Clergy Offices

  • High Guide
  • Ritual Guide
  • Initiation Mentor
  • Keeper of the Codex
  • Council of Lights

Section 2 — Clergy Responsibilities

  • Conduct ceremonies
  • Provide spiritual guidance
  • Preserve rituals
  • Maintain ethical integrity
  • Educate members

Section 3 — Clergy Removal or Review
Leadership may be reviewed for ethical violations, misconduct, or abuse of authority.


Article V — Meetings & Services

Regular gatherings include:

  1. Seasonal Rites
  2. Weekly or monthly services
  3. Ritual training sessions
  4. Council meetings
  5. Initiation ceremonies

A quorum for official decisions is three clergy members or 51% of voting members.


Article VI — Amendments

These bylaws may be amended by:

  • Majority vote of clergy
  • Two-thirds vote of members
  • Approval of the High Guide

Doctrinal foundation of the Church of Osiris

We believe:

  1. Osiris is the archetype of transformation, symbolizing death, rebirth, and illumination.
  2. Consciousness is eternal, evolving through cycles of dissolution and reassembly.
  3. The Green Flame represents intuition, inner light, and direct revelation.
  4. Nature is sacred scripture, offering lessons through seasons, cycles, and elemental force.
  5. Ceremony awakens the soul, anchoring spiritual truths into lived experience.
  6. Every member is a Living Star, part of a greater constellation of unity.
  7. Think Differently is our guiding principle—question illusion, seek truth, embrace change.
  8. Ritual transformation is a path to clarity, empowerment, and spiritual wholeness.

3. CODE OF CONDUCT

Expectations for members and clergy

Members agree to:

  1. Act with integrity and honesty
  2. Treat all beings with respect and dignity
  3. Honor the confidentiality of rituals
  4. Seek non-harm and resolve conflict peacefully
  5. Practice consent in all interactions
  6. Avoid coercion, manipulation, or abuse
  7. Use spiritual authority ethically
  8. Uphold the safety of community spaces
  9. Respect personal spiritual journeys
  10. Think Differently—challenge ego, illusion, and harmful patterns

Violations may result in review, mediation, or removal.

High Guide

  • Senior spiritual leader
  • Oversees doctrine, rites, and clergy
  • Final authority in ritual matters

Ritual Guide

  • Conducts rites and ceremonies
  • Maintains ritual purity
  • Trains new initiates

Initiation Mentor

  • Oversees initiates and seekers
  • Provides spiritual education
  • Ensures readiness for advancement

Keeper of the Codex

  • Maintains scripture, archives, and sacred texts
  • Ensures doctrinal consistency

Council of Lights

  • Advisory body
  • Assists with decisions and community harmony
